Pastoral Council

​​​​Our Parish Pastoral Council consists of Pastor, Chair of Ministries Groups and the support of the Ministries members. Many internal and external activities are organized through the Council, and to promote the parishioners to fulfill the spirit of loving the Lord and loving others, serving the parish and spreading the Gospel and serving our Lord sincerely.

Parish Pastoral Council Meetings are held bi-monthly.

 

Chairs Introduction

 

​ ​Mr. Dominic Wong, Chair of Cantonese Group:  

Wong Shu Shum (Dominic), Chairperson (Cantonese Group) of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Pastoral Council in Toronto, Canada. 

Since 1985, he has been providing services in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church:

  • He is member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Choir since 1985
  • He was member of Legion of Mary
  • Chairperson of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Choir since 2005
  • Chairperson (Cantonese Group) of Parish Pastoral Council since Nov., 2014
​He is responsible for affairs of Cantonese Group of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and assisting the priests of this parish in pastoral affairs.

Mr. Yun Fa Lin, Chair of Mandarin Group: 

Mr. Yun Fa Lin, Rocco: Chairperson (Mandarin Group) of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Pastoral Council in Toronto, Canada.​

Since he came to Canada, he has been providing services in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church:

  • He was Leader of Volunteers Group in 2003
  • Chairperson of Mandarin Club in 2005
  • Vice Chairperson of Mandarin Group in 2006
  • Chairperson of Mandarin Group of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church since 2007
He is responsible for affairs of Mandarin Group of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and assisting the priests of this parish in pastoral affairs.
 
​ ​​Miss. Hua Juan Yu, Vice Chair Mandarin Group  

Hua Juan Yu (Juan Juan) Mary: Vice Chairperson (Mandarin Group) of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Pastoral Council in Toronto, Canada. 

Since she immigrated to Toronto, Canada​​, she has been providing services in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She has been Chairperson of Youth Club, Vice Chairperson of Mandarin Club, Vice Chairperson of Mandarin Group of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church since 2007. 

She is responsible for liturgy in Mandarin Group in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Pastoral Council, Youth Groups, organizing soirees and etc. and she assists the priests of this parish in pastoral affairs.
